Resources for improved well-being and digital awareness
Even with our age-based accounts, innovative safety tools, and advanced systems, we can’t prevent all problematic or harmful situations from occurring online. Caring for our users’ mental health goes beyond safety features, and requires education around prevention, resilience, and learning to set boundaries. These resources and our Community Standards are designed to help.

Guides for digital well-being
Our safety & well-being partners
Online experiences can be complex and difficult to navigate, especially for younger users. That’s why we partner with law enforcement, industry leaders, and trusted organizations that are dedicated to improving mental health and safety of youth and adults in digital environments.
These partners include Koko, a leading mental health nonprofit with expertise in bullying and more, and Throughline, an online mental health crisis support platform to help people who may find themselves in distress and in immediate need.
Our gaming & mental health guide
Created in partnership with Dr. Dan Reidenberg, Psy.D., a suicide prevention and mental health expert, our Gaming & Mental Health resource guides Youth and Teens as they navigate their gaming journey with balance, awareness, and well-being.

Avatar Movement
With Oren Jacob and Vincent Petrella
In this episode of Tech Talks, Roblox founder & CEO David Baszucki sits down with Oren Jacob and Vincent Petrella to explore our latest innovations in avatar movement. Building a fully extensible system that enables fluid, physically-based motion for characters across all shapes, sizes, and proportions is one of our most complex engineering challenges yet, requiring a full evolution of our avatar movement stack. We break down the systems behind that effort and discuss how new animation tools on Roblox are laying the foundation for more expressive avatars and more ambitious gameplay experiences.
